Have you been wanting to quit smoking?  Tried before?  Acupuncture is widely recognized as a useful assist for anyone trying to kick a habit and has been used extensively to support cigarette smokers in their efforts to quit.

The licensed acupuncturists here at Knott Street Health Center offer stop smoking intensives on an ongoing basis.  The program includes acupuncture five days per week, herbs for cravings and for lung detox, as well as dietary counsel.  Intensives will be open to five persons at once, creating a supportive group atmosphere.

Research about programs for smoking cessation confirms that the most significant factor in the success of a program is the availability of follow up care.  Here at Knott Street Health Center, we offer Community Acupuncture Clinics (group clinics where treatments are $20) three days a week, creating ample opportunity for those who’ve done the Intensive to return for all the follow up support they may need.
